Technological advances and global competition have altered the way people work today. Many occupations now require high-tech knowledge, advanced technical skills or both. Learning will be an integral part of the student's working environment as they continue on their career path.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs help prepare students today to meet these new skills needed for today’s jobs. CTE establishes partnerships with local business and industry that allow students to step out of the classroom into the real world, where they can gain a better understanding of the job skills required for their career. CTE students are more engaged, perform better and graduate at higher rates than those who do not work through a CTE career pathway.
Our goal is that CTE students will graduate from high school more globally competitive for work or postsecondary education and they are prepared for life in the 21st century.Read More
