Welcome to the web pages of the UCPS Communications Office. The communications team is responsible for maintaining effective communications with the community at large and within the Union County Public Schools.

It serves students, parents, other members of the community and the news media by providing clear, timely and accurate information about UCPS.

Our goal is to keep the public informed about the exciting things happening in the UCPS through a variety of information sources such as Inside News, the Information Guide, the UCPS Website and the news media.

This award-winning department has been recognized on a state and national level for its writing, photography and publications. It has been the recipient of awards from the North Carolina School Public Relations Association and the National School Public Relations Association.

Meet the Communications staff

The UCPS Communications Office is comprised of a staff of four, led by Luan Ingram, Chief Communications Officer, recognized as the top PR professional in her field. That staff includes:
