Thank you for supporting our schools

Dear Citizens,

I want to thank you for your support of the 2006 School Bond Referendum. I realize that a vote of approval for a bond referendum is much broader than just casting a “yes” vote for school construction. It is also a vote of confidence in the job our schools are doing in educating your children. For both of these votes, I am appreciative.

You are to be commended for choosing the most economical way to fund new schools for our explosive growth, as well as funding for additions and renovations to some of our existing schools. As taxpayers of Union County, we will all benefit in the long-run from your support of the bond referendum.

On behalf of the Union County Board of Education, I pledge to the citizens that your tax dollars will be spent effectively and efficiently toward providing the projects that were presented in the bond referendum information.

Again, I thank you for your confidence and support of our public school system.
