David Dahari named UCPS Teacher of the Year

Union County Public Schools has named David Dahari, a Marvin Ridge High School teacher, as its 2009-2010 Teacher of the Year. Dahari, a nine-year veteran teacher, teaches Chemistry and Physics.

"I was so humbled and honored to be named the Marvin Ridge High School Teacher of the Year. And now to be named the Union County Public Schools Teacher of the Year is amazing,” said Dahari in his acceptance speech of the honor.

The announcement was made April 30, 2009, at the UCPS Teacher of the Year Banquet sponsored by Time Warner Cable and held at Rolling Hills Country Club.
