NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Union County Board of Commissioners is requesting that persons who are interested in serving on the following Boards and/or Committees complete a personal profile sheet.

  1. Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee [at least nine (9) vacancies]
  2. Board of Health [One (1) vacancy for a Dentist as of January 2011]
  3. Home and Community Care Block Grant Advisory Committee [Four (4) vacancies as follows: Three (3) vacancies for expired terms and one (1) vacancy for an unexpired term ending December 2012]
  4. Juvenile Crime Prevention Council [One (1) vacancy for a Substance Abuse Professional, and one (1) vacancy for a person under the age of 18; and the following vacancies as of June 30, 2011: Two (2) Commissioner Appointees, One (1) Juvenile Defense Attorney and a Member of Faith Community)]
  5. Region F Aging Advisory Committee [One (1) vacancy for an Alternate Member as of June 30, 2011]
  6. Nursing Home Advisory Committee [Seven (7) vacancies]
  7. Board of Adjustment [One (1) vacancy for an alternate member to fill an unexpired term ending April 19, 2014]

Please submit completed profile sheets by Tuesday October 11, 2011, to the Office of the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners, 500 N.
