Dear Marshville Elementary Families and Friends,

I hope that you have had an opportunity to enjoy your summer and begin to prepare for a new year. I am truly excited for the opportunity to get the know you and grow with the Marshville community. I would like to warmly welcome each of you to the 2020-2021 school year. I know that the pandemic has brought many challenges; but our staff continues to focus on improving the process for teaching and learning. I also know that many of you may be experiencing indecisiveness and apprehension about the start to this school year. As your principal, it is my sincere pleasure to work with our dedicated staff and community to help ease your minds and provide a safe and first-rate, educational experience for all of our students and their families. We are committed to ensuring that your children receive intentional and student-centered support each day.

My vision for Marshville Elementary is to create a positive learning environment to help provide students with an educational experience that inspires and motivates them to be lifelong learners and caring contributors to the world around them. I am committed to ensuring that your child is provided with a strong, nurturing environment that meets their individual needs, both academically and socially.

Families, teachers, support staff, community members, and administration all have a critical role in helping our students to grow and develop. This includes, academically, socially, and emotionally. Together, we can make a great, positive impact on your child. A strong partnership between home and school fosters greater success for our children. Parents, you are all invited to join and support our PTA and/or our SITE Base Team. We look forward to you all being fully involved in our school and fully invested in your child’s education each day. We encourage parents to ask questions and remain in close communicate with your child’s teacher as much as possible.

We are excited for the opportunity to work with you and your child and to be able to provide a safe and productive learning environment. I encourage you to share ideas, concerns, or questions at any time. I wish your family, and especially your student, great success this school year.
