Mr. Bryan Lynip - Assistant Principal

Mr. Lynip was born in the Philippines where his parents were missionaries serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators. He lived there until he left for college where he attended Houghton College in western NY.

Mr. Lynip began his professional career as a Language Arts teacher in a middle school in Queens, New York. He moved to North Carolina in 1996 and began teaching in Stanly County as an English as a second language teacher. While working as an ESL teacher, he became interested in school administration and went to school to get his Masters’ Degree. He completed his degree in 2002 graduating from UNC Charlotte. Shortly thereafter, he began working as an assistant principal. Previous to working at Benton Heights, Mr. Lynip worked as Principal of New Salem, assistant principal at Unionville, Sardis, and Walter Bickett Elementary School.
