The Humanities Director provides support and resources to Kindergarten through 12th-grade teachers. Included in the Humanities Department are the visual arts, band, chorus, music, theater arts, dance, physical education, health, and sports medicine teachers.
The humanities are a critical component of a child's education. Humanities education contributes to brain development and higher-level cognitive functions, from creativity to fine and gross motor skills. Additionally, self-expression and individuality are fostered through a child's continuing engagement in the humanities.
