“Our Community” Rock Rest Elementary School is located in the heart of the Rock Rest Extension area of Monroe, North Carolina. This segment of Monroe maintains a very diverse population. This makes the school a rich environment where the staff and students are able to practice tolerance and acceptance of other’s differences. The community is supportive of school programs, demonstrating this with donations and the forming of partnerships that continue to be maintained from year to year.
