I was an elementary teacher for 12 years working as a kindergarten teacher all the way up to fourth grade.  I taught in a regular classroom, was a remedial reading teacher, and a gifted and talented teacher.  Then, I took time off to raise my family.  After I came back to the education arena, I have been a media specialist for 12 years in Union County, Charlotte Christian and now I am here at Indian Trail.  I have a BA in Elementary Education from Morehead State University, and two Masters degrees.  My first Masters degree is in Instructional Technology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.  My second Masters Degree is in Library Science from the University of North Carolina @ Greensboro.  I absolutely love reading and technology, so this is the best job around!!!
