Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Mrs. Brown moved with her family to North Carolina in 1998.  She has worked in the Union County Public School system since 2000.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and her Master's in Library and Information Studies from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.  Mrs. Brown fully supports and is a firm believer in the quality of education in Union County Public Schools.
