Henry Chandler, Asst Principal
"Excuses are tools of incompetence used to build monuments of nothing."
I taught for 17 years before transitioning to an assistant principal role. As a classroom teacher, I strived to develop relationships with students, aware of the impact it had on their behavior and academic performance and now as an assistant principal, I invest much of my time and energy in teachers. I do my best each and every day to ensure teachers know that I genuinely care about them as individuals and professionals. I always make time to listen, address concerns, offer guidance and provide instructional feedback so that teachers have the support they need to be successful in the classroom. Above all else, I try to set a good example for others on a daily basis, which is where I believe true leadership begins.
