    Piedmont Leo Club is a community service based club that works closely with the Unionville Lions Club. LEO stands for Leadership Experience Opportunity. We focus on serving the Piedmont community.

     

    National Art Honor Society (NAHS)
    Faculty Advisors: Tracy Price, Annette Harris, and Tiffany Medford

    The National Art Honor Society is a unique organization to Union County Schools. It is the first such program in the county. The program consists of high school student in grades 10 through 12. The students must maintain an average of 90 or higher in their art classes. Students involved in NAHS are looked upon as role models for others at Piedmont High School because of their investment in community service hours outside the school day.

    The mission of the PHS NAHS is to educate the school and community about the arts, and to make the world a better place by providing opportunities for its members to share their talents with others. Official website for the NAHS.

     

    Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

    North Carolina Future Business Leaders of America (NC FBLA) is a career and technical student organization that serves students who are or have been enrolled in a Business or Computer course.     Piedmont Serves/Interact Club  
    Piedmont Serves and Interact have joined together to become one club!  Piedmont Serves provides service opportunities for students that will benefit our school and community and foster an environment of giving back throughout the Piedmont campus. Throughout your year-long membership in Piedmont Serves, you will participate in two or three large-scale service projects and many other activities. As you participate in the various community service projects, you will be able to use the service hours you accrue for the National Honor Society, scholarship boards, and even your future colleges!

    There is a $20 fee to be a member. Please bring the money to Ms. Butera or Ms. Leslie Helms before school. Please bring exact change if possible or a check made out to Piedmont High School. Also, please download and turn in the Club Participation Permission Form at the same time.  Click here to access the club application.

    The mission of Piedmont Serves is to provide service opportunities for students that will benefit our school and community. They are involved with the Senior Citizens Breakfast, Special Olympics, and other service projects throughout the year. All students must also complete and submit the Club Participation Permission Form to Mrs. Butera as part of the membership process.

     

    Health Occupations Club

    Faculty Advisor: Jill Messer

    Health Occupations Club is open to students who have been or who are currently enrolled in the Health Occupations program: Biomedical Technology, Medical Sciences I, and Honor Medical Sciences II. Special activities include a fall and spring blood drive, Holiday Happiness, Hospice Auction, and various volunteer projects during the year.
