DECA Distributive Education Clubs of America

Purpose of club: DECA is made up of more than 219,000 high school members in 5,000 classrooms in 3,500 schools across the world who are preparing for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, management and entrepreneurship.
In DECA, you’ll have the opportunity to become an academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leader through participation in DECA activities at the local, chartered association and international levels.
From community service projects, competitive events, educational conferences, leadership positions, networking and social media, you’ll attain the knowledge and skills you need to be college and career ready.
DECA membership is also open to DECA alumni (past DECA members) and professional members (business leaders in the community.)
How often the club meets: Meetings every other Tuesdayfrom 3:00 to 3:30 pm in Room G101
Where? G101 or the auditorium (depending on capacity). Please check school announcements.
Membership requirements: Any CTE class that is marketing and/or business related.
How students join: Come to the meetings and pay dues.
Dues: $35
