Dr. Camela Bell, Assistant Principal
Dr. Bell is excited to work as an educational leader within Union County Public Schools. Dr. Bell and her other half, Kedrick, live in Cabarrus County with their three children, Chelsie, Zariah, and Jayden. Dr. Bell is a former college cheerleader at Winston-Salem State University, former professional cheerleader for the Carolina Panthers Topcats, former semi-professional cheerleader for the Charlotte Rage and coached cheerleading for 7 years with the North Carolina Public School System. In addition, she is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
In 2012, Dr. Bell completed her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at Gardner-Webb University. Her research and statistical analysis specifically analyzed the relationship of Principal beliefs and their effectiveness on student achievement.
She earned her Master degree in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University, as well as her Bachelor degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics at Winston-Salem State University.
Dr. Bell has led as a school administrator at the elementary, middle and high school level. Her classroom experience is at the elementary, middle, and high school level as a 5th grade and 6th-12th grade math teacher.
