Ms. Elizabeth Bartell, Career Development Coordinator - CTE

Elizabeth Bartell, Career Development Coordinator at Parkwood High, was an elementary, middle and high school counselor for 14 years. She has worked for UCPS since 2006 and this is her 6th year at Parkwood High School where she serves as the Career Development Coordinator. She is a graduate of the University of Florida for her bachelor’s degree and Winthrop University for her master’s degree in Counselor Education.  

Ms. Bartell has the previous experience of working with families and students and preparing for plans after high school such as: curriculum course choices, resume’ writing, interviewing skills, preparing for college, technical school, work, or the military. In the CDC role Ms. Bartell supports all Career and Technical Education teachers and also can assist students with anything related to Career and Technical Education (CTE), internships, co-ops, apprenticeships and career development opportunities. Her role at Parkwood is to support all students with their career development in grades 9-12. Ms. Bartell provides resources for students to explore career opportunities, take career interest inventories as well as personality and learning profiles. These areas will help students fit their interests with a career they will enjoy.
