What’s the National Athletic Honor Society?
The National Athletic Honor Society is a society for high school athletes with the mission of recognizing, supporting, and rewarding high school student-athletes who achieve excellence in the classroom and on the “field of play.”
What are the eligibility criteria for membership?
To be a Member, he/she must satisfy all three of the following eligibility criteria:
- a High School Student in a participating Member High School; maintains a cumulative 3.75 GPA;
- participates in a High School Varsity athletic program for at least two seasons (including, but not limited to, Archery, Baseball, Basketball, Bowling, Cheer/Spirit Squad, Cross Country/Track & Field, Dance, Drill, Equine Sports, Fencing, Field Hockey, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Hockey, Lacrosse, Martial Arts, Rowing/Crew, Rugby, Skiing, Soccer, Softball, Swimming/Diving, Tennis, Volleyball, Water Polo, and Wrestling) is eligible for membership;
- โall active members must complete at least five (5) hours of community service per school year.
Meetings: Once a month, specific day and time TBD
Attendance: Members are required to attend at least one meeting a month. If you are unable to attend the meeting, then you must let Coach Henry know ahead of time.
Dues: $25 / Pay online here https://osp.osmsinc.com/unionNC/
