Ms. Angela Foster
Ms. Angela Foster is originally from Lake City, South Carolina where she graduated from the Florence School District #3 public school system. She earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina system in 2001 and a Masters’ Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Gifted Education from Converse College in 2005. In 2013, she earned a Master's Level Certification in School Administration from Wingate University and is currently in her third year of the doctoral program for educational leadership at Wingate University.
Ms. Foster was named the Union County Public School’s Assistant Principal of the Year for the 2019-2020 school year. She is entering into her 20th year in education and is looking forward to serving as principal of Marshville Elementary School. She previously taught for 12 years as an elementary school teacher in grades three through five and served seven years as a middle school assistant principal at East Union Middle School and Monroe Middle School.
Ms. Foster resides in Union County and has three daughters and a grandson. Her two youngest daughters graduated from Piedmont High School in 2020 and 2018; while, her oldest daughter graduated from Weddington High School in 2010. Away from work, she enjoys traveling, dinner and a movie, spending quality time with family and friends, and serving as the second vice-president of her high school alumni association.
Ms. Foster is fully invested and continues to have a deep commitment to the students, families, staff, and members of the Marshville community. She is looking forward to the many positive and rewarding years to come and strives to develop and grow all students in order to support them on their paths to being college and career ready.
