Mrs. Miranda Mills
Miranda Mills is originally from Monroe, North Carolina and is a proud alumni of the Union County Public School system having attending primary and secondary schools in the Piedmont cluster. Mrs. Mills lives in Union County with her husband, son, and two dogs. She enjoys traveling, learning about other languages and cultures, spending time with her family and friends, and scrapbooking.
Mrs. Mills attended Wingate University and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in K-6 Elementary Education with a minor degree in Spanish. Mrs. Mills attained her Masters in Education degree from Wingate University in 2012. She received an add-on K-12 Principalship licensure from Wingate University in 2015. Currently, she is attending Liberty University virtually to attain her doctoral degree in educational leadership. She is also certified to support English Language Learners and is bilingual.
Mrs. Mills is passionate about supporting students and their social, emotional, and academic needs. She has served in Union County Public Schools for 9 years in the capacities of classroom teacher, co-teacher, DLI liaison, MTSS Coordinator, and literacy interventionist. Mrs. Mills is excited to work with students, teachers, parents, and all stakeholders to support the learning environment to ensure ALL students succeed.
