• CHS Prom 2023

    Prom Date, Time, and Location

    • The prom will take place Friday, April 28th, 2023 from 8:00 - 11:00 pm at Le Méridien, 555 South McDowell Street Charlotte.

     

    Purchasing Tickets

    • Tickets will be on sale from February 1st through March 31st. Absolutely no tickets will be sold after March 31st.

    • Tickets are $60 per person. 

    • Only current CHS Juniors or Seniors may purchase prom tickets.

    • You may only bring one guest to the prom, that is, you may only buy a maximum of 2 tickets. 

    • Each person at prom must have a ticket purchased for them. (1 ticket = 1 person)

    • You must arrive with the date you bought your ticket with.

    • There are no refunds on purchased tickets. 

    • Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable and may not be sold to another student unless handled through either Ms. Hammersmith or Ms. Martin. Any ticket transfers that do not go through Ms. Hammersmith or Ms. Martin are not valid.

    Prom Tickets

    • Tickets will be distributed during lunches the week prior to prom. The physical ticket that you received is for informational purposes only. You do not need to bring it to enter. 

    • Having a physical ticket does not guarantee that you will be admitted to prom. Your name must be on the official roster. If you purchased a ticket from a student outside of school, you will not be admitted to prom unless your name is on the official roster. 

     

    At Prom

    • Students who drive will park in the hotel’s parking deck, to the left of the hotel. Students should bring their parking ticket into the prom to get a validation sticker so they do not have to pay for their parking.  

    • Students must bring a photo ID. 

    • Once you enter the prom, you may not leave and return.

    • Prom is a school sponsored event and all school rules/discipline apply. 

    • CMPD will be on-site to provide security and enforce any violations of the law.
