Dear Wesley Chapel Parents and Friends,
Thank you for taking the time to visit this site to learn more about North Carolina's school accountability program and Wesley Chapel Elementary School. We understand that the information provided here is important to our school, parents and community.
The North Carolina Report Card includes important information about school and student performance, class size, attendance, school safety, instructional resources, and teacher quality. Report card data is available for each school, for each school district, and for the state’s educational system as a whole. The report cards are available on the web at http://www.ncreportcards.org.
The faculty and administration of Wesley Chapel Elementary School are committed to meeting our students' needs and making a difference in their lives. Each child is taught according to his or her academic level in order to better assist in reaching the highest level of potential. Students are recognized for individual growth and success through the Terrific Kids program, Honor Roll recognitions, the Spelling Bee, STEAM Challenge, positive office referrals, an annual Academic Achievement Awards ceremony, and various other enrichment activities.
To strengthen and enhance our academic program and overall student growth levels, students are involved in weekly intervention/remediation sessions, peer tutoring, small group and individual instruction, and buddy classes. Our staff strives to provide a comprehensive instructional program, monitor students' progress, and communicate with parents on a regular basis to maintain student success.
The entire Wesley Chapel school community works to provide a warm and caring environment for our students. Students expand their horizons by participating in after school enrichment programs, Young Authors' Day, STEAM classes and events, and grade level educational field trips. After school programs offered include the Wesley Chapel After School Enrichment Program (WASEP), Rugby, Girls on the Run, Good News Club, Yearbook Club, Battle of the Books, and Scouts. We believe that these activities encourage the maintenance of life-long learning skills and health and wellness in our students.
Our Parent/Teacher Organization provides funds for instructional materials, Parent/Child events, staff appreciation, and a variety of other supports. Dozens of volunteers assist in many ways throughout the school.
Thank you for allowing me to share our report card with you and for supporting our efforts to provide your child with a quality education. Please feel free to contact Wesley Chapel Elementary School to discuss any questions or concerns you may have regarding the information provided on this site.
The Wesley Chapel Eagles are working together with our school community and parents to develop students who are growing each and every day! The faculty and staff at Wesley Chapel appreciate collaborating with our school community and parents as we prepare our students for present and future successes! Our Eagles soar to great heights!
