We are often asked how parents can support the Leader In Me initiative. We find the best way to do that is to use the 7 Habits language at home. Your children are learning the language and meaning of the 7 Habits throughout the school year. Hearing the same language at home and at school sends a strong message of what we all believe is important and will help your child be a successful leader in school, at home and in the community. Rocky River Elementary is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grant. This $5000 grant from Lowes will be used to fund our Engaging Students in STEM project. Mrs. Brenda Todd is our STEM teacher and in her STEM classes she provides an opportunity for students to explore science, technology, engineering and math with hands on materials.
UCPS kindergarten registration for the 2018-19 school year is open! Union County parents of children who will be five years old on or before Aug. 31, 2018 are encouraged to visit the school their child will attend to register their student for kindergarten.
