  • Sheriff's Office Visits Canine Club Meeting

    Members of the Canine Club had a dog-gone good time at September’s monthly meeting thanks to special visitors from the Union County Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit! Lieutenant James, Deputy Grant, Deputy Walden, Deputy Seaman, and Deputy Mills along with canine officers Zorro, Santos, Justice, and Sammy came to the meeting to talk to students about the use of canine officers.

  • Summer Reading Wrap Up

    CATA's summer reading program has been around for a number of years. Each spring the teachers at CATA all pick a book that they are interested in sharing with students. Students then pick their top three choices from the list of possible titles and from that the final list is formed.

  • #UCPSGrads: Sayo Oni prepares for a career on the big stage

    On May 19, CATA senior Sayo Oni was named Best Actor at the Blumey Awards, the prestigious music and theatre arts competition for high school performing arts students.. Building on the lessons learned and experience gained while at CATA, he's planning to attend the highly competitive and prestigious music theatre program at Elon University this fall. After that, Sayo is setting his sights on Broadway.
