Mobile Learning Impact Survey
On December 10th, students will be asked to take a mobile learning impact survey during the day. Developed by the team at Project Tomorrow, building on more than a decade of evaluation studies and insights from Speak Up Research Project for Digital Learning, this survey is a research-based tool designed to help school leaders. You may preview the survey questions here. I you would like for your child to opt out of the survey please contact his/her teacher.
Winter Family Night
This festive event will be held on December 14th at East Elementary and friends and family are welcome. Doors will open at 5:00 and the first event is a Music Concert with a performance by 2nd and 3rd Grade Scholars. After the concert families can participate in STEM activities and shop the Book Fair. Pizza will be provided to those who complete and return the RSVP form by December 10th. Click here for the RSVP form and more information.
CogAT Testing will be held for 3rd Grade Students December 3rd - 7th. Letters will be sent home with the students. Please contact the school if you have questions about the testing. Additional information can be found in the links below.
Scholastic Book Fair
The first Book Fair is scheduled for December 12th, 13th, and 14th. Students can shop during the school day. The Book Fair will also be open on Friday, December 14th during the STEM Night from 5:30 to 7:00. Students will sent home with information regarding the Book Fair, including a pamphlet of books available.
School Wide Spelling Bee
The East Elementary school wide Spelling Bee will be on Friday, November 30th. Scholars who won their classroom Spelling Bee will participate. Selected students were sent home with a word list to prepare for the contest!! Families are welcome to attend this competition and cheer on the Eagle Scholars. This contest will be in the auditorium at 8:30 am.
There will be no school for students November 21, 22, 23 to recognize the Thanksgiving Holiday. Students will return to on Monday, November 26th. We wish all our Eagle Families a wonderful and safe Holiday Weekend.

Children in grades 1st - 8th can sign up for a 20 minutes session with a high school student to receive help with a homework assignment.
