Parents, our Kindergarten informational session for parents of rising Kindergarten students will take place on March 25 from 4-5 pm in our Media Center. We hope to see you there!

Our End of Grade Testing dates for students in grades 3-5 will be as follows: 5th grade Science: May 27, Reading: May 28, and Math: May 30. Please reach out to your child's teacher for any questions about the testing.

Marvin Elementary School is very excited to announce that we have earned a School Performance Grade of an “A” from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction! If you are signed up to be a mystery reader in your child's classroom, and you plan to bring a book from home to read, please send the title of the book to the teacher with advance notice for the book to be approved. This is according to our school procedures. Thank you to our mystery readers!

Parents, please remember the following for each morning: 

7:00am - our school doors open.

7:25am our warning bell rings. Our teacher assistants who help in car rider line start to head inside to join their classes for instruction.  

7:30am our tardy bell rings and instructional time starts. 

If you are tardy you need to sign your student into SDM and select “Add Late Arrival” and ring the doorbell.
