If you would like to have your student be a bus rider in the morning and/or afternoon, please complete the New Bus Rider Form below and return via emai to Christina Sedlmyer at firstname.lastname@example.org. Any questions about bus ridership can also be directed to Mrs. Sedlmyer via email.
Although our school building is currently closed to all visitors, our front office is open for phone calls, to pick up items (i.e. laptops, chargers, weekly work) or to drop off forgotten items (ONLY a lunchbox, medicine, eyeglasses or a water bottle may be dropped off) during the following times:
Sept. 25 – Oct. 4 - Virtual Academy application period via Scribbles for all elementary parents who wish to remain in or transition to Plan D for the remainder of the school year. Access Scribbles to apply via this link-- https://ucpsncc.scriborder.com/
Sept. 29 - Under Plan B, expand learning options, including adding a second day of in-person instruction for those families who opt for face-to-face teaching and learning. A full-time virtual option will remain in place under Plan D. Students currently enrolled in Plan D (Virtual Academy)—nothing changes for you during this time period.
Students with last names (A-K) will come Mondays & Tuesdays.
Students with last names (L-Z) will come Wednesdays & Thursdays.
Fridays will remain as Remote Learning days for ALL students.
Questions regarding your child’s attendance days can be directed to your child’s teacher.
Oct. 26 - Under Plan A, Pre-K - 5 students will begin in-person instruction Monday - Thursday and work remotely on Friday for those families who opt for face-to-face teaching and learning. Opting for Plan A, attendance at school Mondays through Thursdays will be required. Parents will not be able to choose remote learning in lieu of physical attendance in the school. A full-time virtual option will remain in place under Plan D.
**If you do nothing, your child will be enrolled in Plan A (4 days of face-to-face learning each week & remote learning on Fridays).**
Panorama Survey 2020
Union County Public Schools values the feedback of our students, parents and staff. In an effort to continue high quality, rigorous learning experiences and social-emotional support for students, the school district has partnered with Panorama Education to administer a survey to 3rd – 12th graders. The survey window is Sept. 28 – Oct. 8 and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. The link will be sent via Canvas and students will need their Student ID for access. Panorama safeguards student privacy and all responses will be kept confidential.

Same Day Transportation Changes
Any same day/last minute transportation changes that need to be made during school hours MUST be in writing, no exceptions. Send an email with your student's name, student's teacher's name, original transportation and the change to Adrienne Jaquith AND Christina Sedlmyer (email@example.com; firstname.lastname@example.org). Please allow up to an hour to receive a confirmation email acknowledging the change.
If your child will not be at school, please send an email to our Data Manager, Christina Sedlmyer. Please include your child's name, teacher name, date of absence(s) and reason for absence. Our Data Manager will notify you when she receives your e-mail. If you send an e mail, you do not need to send a hand written note.
