  • Mobile Learning Impact Survey-Beginning December 10, students will be asked to take a mobile learning impact survey during the day. Developed by the team at Project Tomorrow, building on more than a decade of evaluation studies and insights from the Speak Up Research Project for Digital Learning, this survey is a research-based tool designed to help school leaders. You may preview the survey questions here. If you'd like for your child to opt out of the survey please contact his/her teacher.

  • Gauging Interest in the International Baccalaureate Pathways at PRHS

    On Monday night Principal Kim Fisenne held an informational meeting to gauge community interest in International Baccalaureate Programs at Porter Ridge High School in the future.  The programs being explored are the IB Diploma Pathway and the IB Career-related Pathway.  Please see the attached presentation and please make sure to complete the survey at the end so that we can determine interest in our community.

  • Winter Hats, Scarves and Gloves Drive-FCCLA is collecting hats, scarves, and gloves that will be donated to Friends of the Homeless. Please drop off your donation by Dec 17th to Mrs. Goldberg in D100 or the main office.

  • Bath Fizzies and More!-TTA classes will be selling during all four lunches their lollipops, pins, lanyards and now their new Bath fizzies! Our TTA kiddos will be making these Bath Fizz balls from scratch with all natural products. Products include essential oils like Lavendar, Eucalyptus, Peppermint and Rosemary. Don’t forget to ask about their gift sets for the upcoming Holidays!

  • ACT/SAT Free Prep Sessions-Huntington Learning Center-Weddington is partnering with UCPS to provide our students with test taking tips and tricks for the ACT and SAT. Students who attend earn participation points toward their school’s #UCPSCollegeReady goal! Click here for the flyer with details.

  • Free ACT Prep Info-Attention 11th grade students! This year all 11th grade students will participate in a very important test called the ACT. This test will provide valuable college information and count towards the overall accountability rating for Porter Ridge High School. In an effort to ensure our students are prepared and successful, Porter Ridge High School will offer a program called Method Test Prep. Method Test Prep is an online course that helps students build their SAT and ACT test prep skills.
