We have begun planning for end-of-year testing and are in need of approxiametly 25 proctors for each day of testing! Would you be able to spare a day or 2 between the hours of 8:15 - 1:00? The only stipulation is that you must be an approved volunteer.

FREE Math Tutoring
Students from PRHS Math Honor Society will be at the middle school to provide Free Math Tutoring on Tuesday afternoons from 3:45-4:30 in room E107. What a great opportunity to forge new friendships and gain some insight into high school life!
RISING 9th GRADE INFORMATION
-Union County Early College application window closed on February 1st.
-Central Academy of Technology and Arts application window will be open February 11th-April 29th, 2019
CATA information nights for parents and students are:

Thursday, Feb 28, 2019@6:30-8:00pm, Porter Ridge MS, Cuthbertson MS, Piedmont MS
Students that cannot attend the scheduled night due to a conflict may certainly attend one of the other nights scheduled.
-Students will tour Porter Ridge High School the week of March 12th. Registration must be completed by March 13th, no exceptions.

Early Dismissal Procedures
If a student plans to leave school before the end of the day, he/she must bring a note from home requesting early dismissal. The adult who plans to pick up the student must sign him/her out in the office by 3:15 pm and be prepared to show valid picture identification..ie driver's license or passport. Also, please allow yourself enough travel time to be inside the office by 3:15.
Early Release Days
The Early Release Days for the 2018-2019 school year:
Feb. 7, and March 7.
Dismissal time is 12:45 on all Early Release Days.
Per UCPS policy any student dismissed before 12:45 on an Early Release Day will be counted absent.
School hours are 8:45-3:45.
The earliest drop off is 8:00 and all students must be picked up by 4:00 unless participating in an approved afterschool activity.
