Hands Helping Others Gives Back

Students play on the floor piano mat. Last weekend on December 8, the “Hands Helping Others” club hosted their third annual Christmas Party for “A Chance to Dance” at Rolling Hills Country Club. A Chance to Dance is a wonderful organization that offers opportunities for special needs people to express themselves through dance.

Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal with the dancers and their families and were entertained with music, singing, and dancing by members of the Hands Helping Others Club. Everyone was super excited to see Santa as he joined in the festivities while the dancers received gifts, played holiday games, took tons of fun photos, and spent the day enjoying the holiday spirit together.

Throughout the entire event, everyone felt the joy of the season with the smiles and hugs received from each other. It was such a rewarding day, and the students should be extremely proud of themselves and each other for making this event a huge success.  Both the “Chance to Dance” dancers and the “Hands Helping Others Club” are already looking forward to next year's holiday gathering.
