CHS Theater Department to Perform

Play rehearsal The CHS Theatre Department is presenting two one-act plays, “The Importance of Being Earnest” and “The Women of Lockerbie.” Performances will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, October 19 and 20. General admission is $5.


“The Importance of Being Earnest” is a Victorian comedy of manners written by Oscar Wilde that first premiered in 1895 in London, England. It stars Wesley Franks and Brian DeDora.


“The Women of Lockerbie” was written by American playwright Deborah Brevoort. It is a story about the aftermath of the bombing of Pan Am 103 that occurred in 1988 over Lockerbie, Scotland. It stars Will Godby, Hannah Gwydir, (pictured in rehearsal) and Sarah Strack.
