PSAT/NMSQT Information

PSAT logo All 10th grade students will be administered the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 16 at Cuthbertson High School during school hours at no cost to the student. The PSAT can be used to better prepare students to take the SAT. Scores are also used to identify eligible students for the National Merit Scholarship Program.

The PSAT/NMSQT is free for 11th grade students who meet one of the following criteria:

 Students who scored in the 90th percentile or higher on the PSAT/NMSQT their sophomore year.

 Students who are first time test-takers and have not previously taken the PSAT/NMSQT.

 Students who qualify for a FRL fee waiver.

11th grade students who do not meet the criteria listed above and 9th grade students who are interested in taking the test may elect to pay a $17.00 fee to participate.

Students who are not enrolled in our school (homeschool and private school students) and are interested in participating in the test may also pay the fee to participate.

The deadline to sign up and pay the fee is Tuesday, September 17 .

Payment will be accepted in the Guidance Office. Please make checks payable to Cuthbertson High School.
