The CHS FFA Junior and Senior teams competed in the University of Mount Olive’s Virtual Veterinary Science Career Development Event on Friday November 13.
The Virtual Veterinary Science CDE consists of five main parts: Parasite ID, Equipment ID, Breed ID, a knowledge practicum, and a math practicum.
The senior team consisted of Amber Noel, TJ Lyons, Kaitlynn Clemente, and Maya Gaziano who competed among 12 other teams from across the state and placed 1st in the competition.
The junior team consisted of Reagan Young, Emery Donlan, Shelby Elliot, and Georgia Hughes who competed among 9 other teams and placed 3rd in the competition.
