After a semester of learning, Ms. Liao’s Chinese Semester Classes applied their knowledge through a Chinese restaurant Project. In this project, students composed and performed a skit about a restaurant experience entirely in Chinese. The experience was an interactive and creative way for students to engage in practical Chinese application while having fun with their peers. “The project gave us the chance to understand how it would be to speak, greet, and have a full conversation with someone at a restaurant, or even just in general,” said Aubrey Sinople, a 7th grader when asked about the experience. Ms. Liao’s students enjoyed the immersive experience as a fun way to wrap up the semester.
