EU Students Share the Christmas Spirit Around the World

On December 16th, members of East Union's Beta club and C2J club (Committed to Jesus) traveled to the Operation Christmas Child packing facility in Charlotte.  38 students and chaperones processed shoe boxes that are headed to South Africa and the Dominican Republic.  East Union students collected items for the boxes for a few weeks prior, then C2J members packed them during club meetings to take to the processing center. There were 21 total boxes from EUMS.

While at the processing center, the students checked the boxes for appropriate items, sorted them, and made sure they were ready to go. 8th grader, Austyn Ossmann, said, "This experience was very moving. It made me happy to think that kids will be Christmas presents that they might have never gotten before."
