Congratulations to Mrs. Ferguson on her retirement! Mrs. Ferguson has taught at Fairview for 25 years. In her career, she has taught Physical Education K-5 and Physical Education 6-12 at Wolfe School. She has taught at two schools each year for 29 out of 31 years. These are the schools where she has taught-Fairview, Hemby Bridge, New Salem, Walter Bickett, Sardis, East, Prospect, Unionville and Wolfe School.
When asked what she will miss the most about Fairview, Mrs. Ferguson replied, "Fairview is like my second home. I will miss my friends, the daily routine, family-friendly environment, and teaching and talking to my students." When asked what she looks most forward to in retirement, Mrs. Ferguson said, "Attending NC State football, men's basketball and women's basketball games-GO WOLFPACK!!! Also hiking in the mountains and spending time with my family."
Mrs. Ferguson added, "I would like to thank the faculty and staff, students and parents for your support. Thank you for the great memories, and I will definitely miss each and every one of you."
