Kindergarten Makes 3D Shapes

We have done several activities while exploring cubes, spheres, cylinders, and cones. Some of the activities include finding these 3D shapes in our world, cutting them out of magazines, drawing them, exploring how they move and look differently from 2D shapes, and creating models of them using marshmallows and toothpicks. Check out some of our cube models!!

Our kindergarteners have been working on recognizing, describing, comparing, and building models of 3D shapes.       Kindergartners enjoyed making 3D shapes with marshmallows and toothpicks.
