What a delight it was when Weddington High School students delivered books donated to ITES. Members of the WHS National Honor Society and National English Honor Society each donated books for their holiday book drive. Club officers made deliveries on two days. To make it extra special, each member also made holiday cards with handwritten messages of encouragement to the students.
On the final school day before Winter break over 100 Timberwolves received a holiday card and a bag of books and to keep and enjoy at home.
Indian Trail Elementary School is so thankful for the officers and members of the NHS and NHES for giving our students the gift of reading this holiday season!
