Computer Science Education Week

The week of December 3rd - 7th is Computer Science Education Week (CSEW). CSEW gives children the opportunity to explore concepts related to computer programming and to participate in the Hour of Code which is a world wide event in which children globally spend at least one hour learning how to write computer code.

Our students celebrate Computer Science Education Week during the whole month of December and continue the Code.org Elementary CS Curriculum all year.  We have a variety of activities planned for all Kindergarten through Fifth grade students. Each student will work on their critical thinking and problem-solving skills during Computer Lab and Media class times, which equals 90 minutes of instruction each week.
