UCPS Latino Outreach Services, in collaboration with the Monroe Fire Department, hosted a fire extinguisher training for Union County community members. This activity took place on Thursday, June 30, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Station 4 of the Monroe Fire Department. 20 parents and family members completed essential training on the different types of fires and effective safety procedures. Participants practiced the correct use of fire extinguishers. Children from ages 4 through 12 also learned about fire safety and took a tour of the station.
UCPS Latino Outreach is proud to partner with our Monroe Fire Department heroes to serve the community.
