The Parkwood Middle School robotics club competed in the 5th annual UCPS Robotics Classic this past weekend. Six teams designed, engineered and tested their robot for weeks in order to score the most points in the competition. Of those six teams, five made it to the elimination round and Team Siege won first place overall! 32 other middle school teams competed against these young engineers, so their victory was no small feat. Not to mention this was Team Siege’s 3 consecutive win at the Robotics Classic! Team Parkwood Robots also showed determination and teamwork by finishing 4th overall. The robotics club is excited to continue improving for the spring 2020 competitions.
