Reese Morrissey does it again! The 7th grader won the school wide Spelling Bee on December 6th after winning it in her 6th grade year as well. 29 students participated overall, each one winning their ELA class spelling bee before advancing to the school event. Reese will go on to participate in the county spelling bee next semester. In the event she cannot attend, our runner-up, Abigail Bunschoten will take her place. 

In addition, we had a very special judge this year... a student! Rachel Madrid assisted as a student judge this morning after exhibiting the necessary leadership and initiative skills with our spelling bee host, Ms. Campany. 

We're so proud of everyone who participated  this morning, but an extra special congratulations to Reese!
