Health Science Students Obtain CPR Certification

CPR Students in Mrs. Messer's Health Science II class became CPR certified recently as part of their preparation for the Certified Nurse Aide class they will complete during the spring semester.  The aspiring CNAs certified in CPR on adults, children, and infants, while also certifying in the use of AEDs.  According to the American Heart Association, immediate CPR can double or triple chances of survival after cardiac arrest.  Piedmont is proud of the career readiness certification that the Health Science students achieved as they pursue a career in the healthcare profession.
