Stamey Named Principal of Piedmont

Dylan Stamey has been named the new principal of Piedmont High after Dr. Tyson was promoted to UCPS Director of Accountability and Research.  Mr. Stamey has served as an Assistant Principal at Piedmont for the past four years.  According to Stamey, "I feel honored to be selected as the next Principal of Piedmont High School.  The moment I walked in the front door 4 years ago, Piedmont has felt like “home”.  The faculty, staff, students, and community welcomed me warmly, and I will forever be grateful.  I care deeply for the emotional well-being and academic success of our students and will work tirelessly to continue the traditions that make Piedmont High such a special place.  I look forward to building new relationships and continuing partnerships with all stakeholders within the Piedmont community."
