Mr. Beighle's Sports Marketing students recently participated in a real-world business experience by creating a marketing campaign for a new flavor of gourmet cinnamon roll. In conjunction with Cinnaholic in Indian Trail, students developed possible flavors of cinnamon rolls that would be featured at their location. Students then voted on their favorite, and the winning flavors were the "Kobe Roll", "Brownies Best Friend", "Whoopie Roll", and "Donkey Kong." The marketing students analyzed what ingredient combination, flavor design, and flavor name would be favorable with students at Piedmont and then developed their promotion accordingly. The four winning flavors will be on sale at the Indian Trail Cinnaholic location until March 4th.
