Piedmont welcomes new ROTC instructors

Colvin Piedmont would like to welcome MSgt Catrina Colvin and Major Chad Richardson as new Air Force ROTC instructors.  MSgt Colvin is arriving to Piedmont having served as the Senior Logistics Manager and Military Training Instructor. She is originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, where she enlisted into active duty Air Force in August 2000 as a Logistics Apprentice and started her career at Kadena AFB, Japan.  Over her tenure, she served at various bases such as Holloman AFB, New Mexico, Lackland AFB, Texas, and Pope and Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina.  In 2014, she was selected for a special duty assignment as a Military Training Instructor, where she was responsible for managing daily operations for the Education and Training Organization to deliver 13,000 leadership and development academic teaching hours for 38,000 students. In her civilian capacity, she is a mother of three children and has a cane corso puppy named Apollo.


Major Chad Richardson is arriving to Piedmont having served as the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor the previous three years at Blue Ridge High School in Greer, SC.  Prior to that, he served 22 years in the Air Force as a CyberSpace officer, culminating his career teaching the senior ROTC course at Duke University.  He has 3 children, one of whom is serving in the Air Force at Ramstein Air Base Germany, and 2 grandchildren.  Chad Richardson
