UCPS November Influencers inspire others through action
Union County Public Schools honored its latest influencers at the Nov.1 Board of Education meeting.
The Influencers program celebrates the passion, dedication and exemplary work ethic of UCPS employees who go the extra mile every day. Each month, our staff members, students, families and community members have the opportunity to nominate UCPS employees for this award to recognize the positive influence they have on others.
The newest honorees are Lana Funderburk, a media coordinator at Piedmont Middle and Beatrice Salas, a receptionist at Health Sciences Academy at Monroe Middle.
The employees were celebrated for their leadership, kindness and ability to connect with others. Each winner received a certificate, a UCPS Influencers shirt and an Amazon gift card. Additionally, Honda of Indian Trail has partnered with UCPS to provide a meal for the instructional winner and their entire school staff.
The dealership is also offering all employees discounts that include $500 off on a vehicle purchase and a complimentary oil change.
