First grade went to the moon using virtual reality goggles from the Union County Public Library! Ms. Kelly Cehelnik, Community Engagement Librarian, brought the virtual reality goggles programmed for our students to travel to the moon.
Our first grade students have been studying the moon so this was the perfect way to close out their unit!
Students could be heard say "GUYS! I'm on the moon!", "Look! Mine has information!" and even teachers said "Oh my word!!" while looking through the goggles. We are thankful for our partnership with the Union County Public Library and we can't wait to collaborate with them more in the future!
