UCPS students outperform state and national peers on PSAT exam

Last fall, UCPS offered the PSAT National Merit Scholarship Test to 10th and select 11th graders at no cost to their families.

The College Board exam, which is being offered for the second year in UCPS, helps to remove financial and/or transportation barriers for students who otherwise may not have been able to take the assessments. It's a move that provides all students with more access to preparation for the SAT and, ultimately, higher education opportunities.
