UCPS announces launch of Say Something Anonymous Reporting System
UCPS is expanding efforts to keep students safe.
The state has joined Sandy Hook Promise to bring the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System to North Carolina schools. This system is designed to change and save lives by teaching students, educators and administrators how to recognize the signs and signals of those who may be at risk of hurting themselves or others, and to anonymously report this information through a telephone crisis hotline, website or mobile app.
In advance of the Dec. 23 launch, all UCPS middle and high school students were trained on the system and have learned how to submit a tip.
