At the Jan. 27 special called meeting, the Union County Board of Education voted to rescind the 2023-2024 traditional academic calendar that was approved on Dec. 13, 2022. The board approved a new 2023-2024 traditional academic calendar. Students will begin school on Monday, Aug. 28 and end on Friday, June 7.

Calendar Highlights:

• The first day of school is Monday, Aug. 28
• The last day of school is Friday, June 7
• Winter Break for students is Dec. 18, 2023 – Jan. 1, 2024
